College football bowl games are upon us as the 2023 postseason begins with a flurry of matchups that will mark a celebration of a compelling year in the sport. The action kicks off on Saturday, Dec. 16 and will run all the way through the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, Jan. 8 as we crown a national title winner for the 2023 season.
After opening with a six-game slate on Saturday, the Bowl Season action returned with a bang on Monday as Western Kentucky stormed back from a 28-point deficit for an overtime win over Old Dominion in the Famous Toastery Bowl. Tuesday night saw UTSA take down Marshall 35-17 behind a big day from backup quarterback Owen McCown — son of former UCLA All American Cade McCown. Bowl season rolls on Wednesday when Syracuse meets UCF in the Boca Raton Bowl.
