Wyndham Clark will attempt to do the most difficult thing in golf by following up a great round with another one. The U.S. Open champion utilized a record-setting 12-under 60 in his third round at Pebble Beach Golf Links to race to the top of the leaderboard at the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am at 17 under. Clark will have to contend with a number of heavy hitters to claim his third trophy since last spring.
Clark’s dazzling performance caught the eye, but in the back of minds everywhere is Mother Nature. With heavy rains and winds gusting as high as 60 mph expected to roll in Sunday, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will once again be defined by the conditions. Delays are expected, 54 holes may be all that is required, but should the players continue to saunter on, then Ludvig Åberg should love his chances as Clark’s closest pursuer.
Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Jason Day and Sam Burns all find themselves inside the top 10 and will pray for the chance for one final stroll around Pebble Beach in order to catch Clark.
