Made in Loveland launches Tuesday

​Made in Loveland 2024: ​a ​month-​long ​program ​celebrating​ innovation and​ entrepreneurship​, starts Tuesday with a breakfast at desk chair workspace, 201 E. Fourth St., Loveland.

​The event will take place throughout the entire month of February, every Wednesday​ at desk chair workspace and every Thursday at The Warehouse ​Business Accelerator​, 815 14th ​S​t. SW, Suite C250, Loveland​, according to a news release.

​Three sessions ​will be available each​ day at ​9​ a.m., ​n​oon and 5​ p.m.

​A range of speakers, industry​ experts​ and local professionals will share their knowledge and experiences.

​T​he event ends with a Made in Loveland 2024 Closing Party​ at 4 p.m. Feb. 29 at Verboten Brewery​, 127 E. Fifth St., Loveland.

• The Greeley Stampede announced Thursday that Chevron will be the presenting sponsor of the 102nd community event that is scheduled for June 26-July 7.  The new partnership will help the Greeley Stampede continue to produce an award-winning festival with a Top-15 PRCA ranked rodeo while making an impact on the community through donations to organizations and providing affordable family entertainment, a news release stated.

• Hach Co. of Loveland won a federal contract award for $18,157 from the Department of the Interior U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Falls Church, Virginia, for mi-marquette-dr1900 spectrophotometers.

• Woodward of Fort Collins won a federal contract award for $73,194 from the Department of Defense Defense Logistics Agency, Columbus, Ohio, for circuit card assembly.

• Micro Motion Inc. of Boulder has been assigned a patent (No. US 11881888 B2, initially filed March 27, 2018) developed by Brian T. Smith of Johnstown for “Electronics including a bidirectional isolation circuit.”
