The 2024 Genesis Invitational has not been without its share of headlines, but there has only been one leader. Patrick Cantlay has stood atop the leaderboard after each round this week and holds a two-stroke advantage entering Sunday at Riviera Country Club. Cantlay’s margin would have been even more significant had he not posted a 70 — by far his lowest round of the week — on Moving Day.
That allowed Xander Schauffele and Will Zalatoris to get back into the mix after the fellow young Americans shot matching 65s. Luke List, Harris English and Jason Day also sit within four strokes of Cantlay making the Genesis Invitational up for grabs in Los Angeles. Who will walk out with the $4 million winner’s share of the $20 million purse?
