A day after the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres officially got Major League Baseball’s 2024 spring training slate underway, Friday’s schedule features four games of Cactus League action in Arizona.
The Royals and Rangers face off at their shared facility in Surprise, the rival Chicago Cubs and White Sox meet in Mesa, the defending NL champion Diamondbacks take on the Rockies at their joint complex, along with the second game in the Dodgers-Padres home-and-home.
In Florida, the Red Sox and Twins have exhibitions against local college teams. Boston takes on the Northeastern Huskies and the Twins face Minnesota Golden Gophers in Fort Myers.
