The Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce on Thursday awarded local business Perrine Man Press the Extra Mile Award.

Co-owners Kenji and Cory Paulson were surprised by family, coworkers and community members in the brick-and-mortar store on Main Avenue in Twin Falls.

The two founded the business in 2017 and opened their shop three years later.

In 2022, they released their Made For More campaign that has since inspired the community.

During the ceremony, members of the community shared the ways in which the couple’s work has impacted them.

The couple felt the love that they work to share with the community reflected back onto them.

“We have this goal with every person that comes into our shop,” Cory Paulson said. “We remind (them) that they are incredibly valuable…

“One of the many temptations in today’s world is that we go home, get in bed, make our lists, and say ‘Once I fix these things, I’ll try and believe that (I’m valuable). We want to tell you (that) we believe it’s true right now.”

The Extra Mile Award supports business owners who are making waves within the community, chamber ambassador Angela Miller explained.

“(The award) is given to someone in the community that helps promote business… but goes way beyond that,” Miller said. “They make people feel like they are a part of the magic in this community.”

Cory and Kenji create magic for the community every day as an extension of their campaign by challenging people to “remember to love themselves.”
