Members of the Holy Trinity Steubenville Philoptochos Society took part in various events in October and November, helping members of the community and area nonprofit organizations. Whether it was through making a monetary donation or collecting the necessary articles or supplies to meet the needs others have requested, the society diligently worked to meet those needs. In addition, past and current presidents were honored, including, clockwise from top left, Rikki Kamarados, Angie Mahfood, Mary Jean Mahfood, Marianne Balakos, Mary J. Evangelinos-McElhaney and Tara Mougianis; at right, members created 100 blessing bags for those in need. Each bag contained toothpaste, a toothbrush, a bar of soap, a wash cloth, socks, gloves and a hat. Members taking part were, from left, Soula Joyce, Bunny Lucci, Mary Hawthorne, Mary Jean Mahfood and Angie Mahfood; and below, a charitable donation was awarded in October to the Women In Action Against Cancer Coalition for $100.
