On a jam-packed Week 16 slate of games, the “Sunday Night Football” contest pits the Denver Broncos against the New England Patriots. 

Denver has vaulted itself back into the playoff race by going 4-2 since its bye week, but is coming off a blowout loss at the hands of the Detroit Lions. With two division games on tap for the final two weeks of the season, the Broncos need to secure a win here to keep pace in the AFC.

The Patriots, meanwhile, are pretty clearly playing for draft positioning at this point. New England is just 3-11 and at point earlier thi season lost three consecutive games despite not allowing more than 10 points in any of them. Still, Bill Belichick and Co. already upset the Steelers two weeks ago, so we know they are capable of playing spoiler.
