The first WWE SmackDown of 2024 is a big one. Roman Reigns and Logan Paul will witness new challengers being crowned for their undisputed WWE universal and United States championships, respectively.
Two big matches on Friday have Royal Rumble implications. AJ Styles vs. LA Knight vs. Randy Orton will determine who challenges Reigns for his world title on Jan. 27. Kevin Owens and Santos Escobar meet in the finals of a tournament that will produce the top contender for Paul’s U.S. championship.
It is an especially stacked episode of SmackDown with four matches booked in advance. Joining the world title and U.S. title contender bouts is a WWE women’s championship match between Iyo Sky and Michin. A tag team match pitting Butch and a to-be-announced partner against Pretty Deadly rounds out the card.
CBS Sports is with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from Rogers Arena in Vancouver beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
