Odds, prediction, inactives, injuries, how to watch AFC Championship

An AFC title and a ticket to Super Bowl LVIII is on the line as the Baltimore Ravens host the Kansas City Chiefs. For Patrick Mahomes and company, appearing in this game is old hat as the quarterback has reached this juncture in every season he’s been Kansas City’s full-time starter. Meanwhile, the Ravens are in their first conference championship game since 2012 and are hosting this game for the first time in the franchise’s history.

Baltimore finds itself knocking on the door of the Super Bowl after a dominating effort in the divisional round as this No. 1 seed took down the Texans following the first-round bye. They are headlined by the presumptive MVP in Lamar Jackson, who dazzled in that playoff victory totaling four touchdowns (two passing, two rushing), while adding 100 yards on the ground. The Ravens also sport arguably the best defense in the entire league, so it’ll be quite the challenge for the Chiefs.

Kansas City is aiming to be the first team since the 2003 and 2004 New England Patriots to repeat as Super Bowl champions and are doing so on the back of a strong defense that ranked second in the league in points allowed, only trailing this Baltimore squad. Of course, Mahomes is a key X-factor in this matchup and is coming off a divisional round win over Buffalo where he led the Chiefs offense to a 7.7 yards per play average and eight plays that went for 20-plus yards (both season highs).

So, who will come out of this game on top and stamp their ticket to Las Vegas? We’re about to find out. As this game unfolds, check out our live blog of this AFC title tilt. Below, you can find expert analysis and real-time highlights of all the top plays.
