Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Froedtert South have reached an agreement on a new four year contract for Anthem members, effective Jan. 1, 2024.
The new contract will continue in-network access to Froedtert South facilities and physicians for Anthem members and aligns reimbursement rates.
“This new agreement demonstrates the strong commitment by both organizations to deliver access to high-quality, affordable care for the members we mutually serve,” said Paul Nobile, president of Anthem in Wisconsin. “We have a long history of working together to benefit those we serve and we look forward to continuing our partnership.”
Ric Schmidt, president and CEO of Froedtert South, said they were pleased to continue their relationship with Anthem.
“This new agreement will provide our patients with continuity of care combining excellent regional medical center care at a local level and the highest of tertiary and quaternary care with our partner Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin,” Schmidt said.
