A new era begins for PFL and Bellator on Saturday. The promotions will collide in a PFL vs. Bellator card that features champions from both organizations and a main event that will determine Francis Ngannou’s next mixed martial arts opponent.
PFL vs. Bellator was originally intended to be a champion vs. champion super card featuring four fights between 2023 PFL champions and reigning Bellator champions. That premise was compromised by injuries but the card still has much to offer. Heavyweight champs Renan Ferreira and Ryan Bader will headline the Riyadh card with an MMA fight against Ngannou at stake. The co-main event sees PFL light heavyweight champ Impa Kasanganay return to middleweight against 185-pound Bellator champion Johnny Eblen. Bellator welterweight champ Jason Jackson will take on former PFL tournament winner Ray Cooper III at a catchweight of 182 pounds.
The most anticipated fight of the night might just be the main card opener. The always-exciting Clay Collard welcomes former Bellator featherweight champion AJ McKee to the cage. The morbidly curious will get a kick out of seeing former UFC title challengers Thiago Santos and Yoel Romero lock horns.
CBS Sports will be with you the entire way on Saturday bringing you all the results and highlights from the event below. The main card begins at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN+ PPV following preliminary bouts at 12:30 ET.
