The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys have renewed one of the NFL’s best rivalries once again with first place in the NFC East on the line. A win would put the Eagles in the driver’s seat for the division title, set to become the first team to repeat as NFC East champions since they accomplished the task from 2001 through 2004. A Dallas victory would tie the Cowboys with Philadelphia for first place in the NFC East with four games to play with both teams splitting the season series.
The Cowboys are looking to prove they can beat a team currently with a winning record (0-2 against such teams this year) while the Eagles are coming off a rough loss to the San Francisco 49ers with full control of the top seed in the NFC on the line. Dallas is one of the hottest teams in the league, not losing a game since the loss to Philadelphia in Week 9 (a 28-23 victory by the Eagles). Jalen Hurts and Dak Prescott will square off for the second time this year, as Prescott threw for three touchdowns in the first meeting while Hurts threw for two scores and rushed for another.
