Daniel Gernatt III
Gernatt, Daniel III – Feb. 27, 2024 of Collins, NY, 63, died at his home. Beloved son of Dolores “Dolly” Gernatt and Dan Gernatt Jr.; loving brother of Dianna(Ric) Saraf, Donald (Deb) Gernatt and the late Dr. Timothy Gernatt; cherished uncle of Kaitlyn Gernatt, Derrick Gernatt and Christina Saraf.
Dan lived an exceptional life with the help of an outstanding team of caregivers who showed the utmost respect and concern for him.
Dan was a graduate of Cardinal Mindszenty Highschool and was employed at Dan Gernatt Gravel Products, Inc. in Collins, NY.
The family will be present to receive friends on March 1, 2024 from 4-8pm at Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 E. Main St., Gowanda, NY. All are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church Main Street, Gowanda, NY on March 2, 2024 at 12:30 pm. Please assemble at the church.
Dan lived his life as an inspiration to others. He always woke up with a smile on his face, looking forward to each day.
