Lessing’s partners with Rochester firm

Great River-based Lessing’s Hospitality Group is partnering with Rochester-based The Gleason Works, the global headquarters of Gleason Corporation, a machine-tool builder. Lessing’s is now providing food service operations for The Gleasons Works.

“We’re delighted to align with The Gleason Works, a company that shares our values for quality and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences,” Michael Lessing, CEO of Lessing’s Hospitality Inc., said in a written statement.

“We see this engagement as a symbiotic relationship that elevates both companies’ offerings,” he added. “Lessing’s aims to bring a fresh yet sophisticated culinary palette that resonates with the diverse and dynamic community that The Gleason Works embodies.”

In this partnership, which took effect on Nov. 14, Lessing’s is focusing on fresh, sustainable, and local produce with a concentration on nutrition for The Gleason Works employees and visitors. Lessing’s said in a news release that it is also introducing “Innovative menu designs, streamlined logistics, and responsive customer service.”

Gleason Corporation develops and manufactures production systems for gears, including design software for high precision gears and power transmission systems, gear production machinery, metrology systems, automation solutions, related equipment and plastic gears.

Lessing’s has a presence along the East Coast, including in Florida, across sectors of the hospitality industry.
