Live updates, full coverage, golf scores in Round 1 on Thursday

Pebble Beach Golf Links has finally received a field worthy of its stature as 14 of the top 15 players in the world will tee it up this week for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Only two courses — Spyglass Hill and Pebble Beach — will be used for the limited-field event this year, and there will be a reduced number of amateurs on Saturday and Sunday in the second of eight signature events this year on the PGA Tour.

On the professional side, Rory McIlroy looks to stay hot after a second-first finish in the Middle East to start the year. Scottie Scheffler will try and fix his (continued) struggles with the putter. Meanwhile, Jordan Spieth will attempt to maintain what has been an impressive resume at Pebble Beach over the course of his career (nine top 25s in 11 appearances).

Among the amateurs, the three big names many sports fans will want to see are Tom Brady (playing with Keegan Bradley), Josh Allen (playing with Keith Mitchell) and Aaron Rodgers (playing with Beau Hossler). Brady and Allen will play in the same group for the first few days at Spyglass and Pebble.

Weather is expected to impact the tournament. Between consistent rain and potentially heavy wind, it could be a messy — but still fun! — week at Pebble Beach.

Keep it locked here as CBS Sports will be keeping track of everything with live updates and analysis throughout the opening-round action on Thursday.
