EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Kickoff is underway between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants in Week 18, a week where the NFC East will find out if the streak of not having a repeat division champion will remain alive. The Eagles not only need a win to capture the NFC East title — but a Dallas Cowboys loss to the Washington Commanders. If that scenario plays out, the Eagles will be the first repeat winner of the NFC East since the Eagles teams that won four straight NFC East titles from 2001 to 2004 under Andy Reid.

A loss will lock the Eagles into the No. 5 seed, where Philadelphia will play the NFC South champion in the wild card round of the playoffs.

The Giants will wrap up their regular season after a disappointing campaign. Mired in a three-game losing streak, the Giants still have not won a playoff game in consecutive seasons since 1984-1986 (won a playoff game last season). New York has the worst sack differential (-54) in a season in NFL history, giving up 83 sacks and having just 29 this season.

Will the Eagles put pressure on the Cowboys and force them to win in the regular season finale? Can the Giants hand the NFC East to the Cowboys? We’ll have all the real-time analysis and updates from the Meadowlands in the live blog below!
