We’re live with the first of three Christmas Day NFL games, in which the Kansas City Chiefs play host to the division rival Las Vegas Raiders.
At 9-5, Kansas City desperately needs to win out to have any hope of capturing one of the top two seeds in the AFC playoffs, and that process begins here. Patrick Mahomes and Co. got back on track last week by defeating the lowly Patriots, are are now looking to sweep the season series against Vegas.
The Raiders, meanwhile, are 6-8 and on the outside of the playoff picture, looking in — though technically not yet eliminated. That can change this afternoon, though, so they need to capture a victory here to keep their hopes alive.
Will the Chiefs maintain pace near the top of the conference, or will the Raiders pull off the upset? We’ll find out soon enough. In the meantime, keep it locked to our live blog throughout the afternoon as we update you with stats, scores, and highlights.
