A pet cremation business in the Metairie Cemetery caught fire Sunday morning, according to a news release from the company. No one was injured.
Heaven’s Pets at Lake Lawn Metairie, which announced the fire via email, did not provide any additional details about the blaze.
“We have put measures in place to remain operational and offer continuous service to our families,” wrote Patrick McCausland, president of Heaven’s Pets. “We care deeply about our families and are here to support them through their journey following the loss of a pet. We thank the New Orleans Fire Department who responded immediately to help us during this difficult event.”
