Press malfunction creates printing challenges today | News, Sports, Jobs

[ad_1]

A breakdown overnight in part of the printing press used to print the Tribune Chronicle caused today’s newspaper print edition to be delayed and some regular pages to be removed.

Because one of the units on the press could not immediately be repaired overnight, a swift decision was made to eliminate several pages that normally would appear in today’s “A” section in order to get the rest of the newspaper printed and delivered. Unfortunately, those pages include some obituaries, stocks and possibly other pages including the Opinion page.

Crews are working to repair the press and determine the best course of action going forward regarding the pages that had to be omitted. In the meantime, all the news items that normally would have appeared in today’s print edition are available online at www.tribtoday.com.

We apologize for the inconvenience and ask our readers to bear with us.
