Welcome to the 2024 NBA trade deadline. With Thursday’s 3 p.m. ET deadline looming, teams have less than an hour left to complete deals that could go a long way in determining who winds up hoisting the Larry O’Brien Trophy this June. We’ve already seen several big moves during the season, including blockbusters involving James Harden, Pascal Siakam and O.G. Anunoby, and now, it’s up to the rest of the league to respond.
The early portion of deadline week was quiet, and there were a handful of small deals on Wednesday as the Celtics and Timberwolves bolstered their depth. But more moves are going down Thursday. Before noon ET, the Knicks, 76ers and Thunder had all made deals to improve their rosters. The Knicks brought in Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks from the Pistons. The 76ers improved their shooting by landing Buddy Hield from the Pacers, and the Thunder added a veteran scorer in Gordon Hayward.
