Rory McIlroy, Max Homa, Rose Zhang and Lexi Thompson will be the featured superstars in the latest edition of The Match, which takes centers stage on Monday night at The Park — an excellent Gil Hanse design in West Palm Beach, Florida. The latest iteration of The Match will be an every-golfer-for-themselves version with the four stars playing 12 holes in total throughout the event.
A fun and relaxed evening of golf should be in store for fans with McIlroy and Homa joking on the microphones and Thompson and Zhang — both of whom are pretty decent at this golf thing — getting to showcase their skills to a larger television audience. Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley will be on the call, while Trevor Immelman, Kathryn Tappen, Christina Kim, DJ Khaled and Paul Bissonnette will be involved as well.
The winner of this exhibition ultimately may not be that consequential, but overall this should still be a great showcase of men’s and women’s golf together and a fun night to watch four of the best in the world tee it up.
