ALPENA — Alpena Public Schools closed today because of “staffing issues,” the district said in a brief email to students and in a post on the district’s Facebook page.
Neither the email nor the Facebook post specified the types of staffing issues the district experienced.
In a separate Facebook post, the district said an Alpena High School trip to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor is postponed.
