ANNAPOLIS, Md. (DC News Now) — DC News Now is the official media sponsor of 2023’s Military Bowl between Virginia Tech and Tulane.
Kickoff started Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md.

5:25 p.m. — Virginia Tech wins the 2023 Military Bowl with a final score of 41-20. This was the first Bowl win since 2016 for the Hokies.
4:56 p.m. — Virginia Tech scores a touchdown, leading Tulane 41-20.
4:48 p.m. — Virginia Tech scores again, 34-20.
4:45 p.m. — As the fourth quarter starts, Virginia Tech is in the lead 27-20.
4:25 p.m. — Virginia Tech scores a field goal, 27-17.
4:14 p.m. — Virginia Tech regains lead with Kyron Drones rushing touchdown, 24-17.
4:06 p.m. — Tulane scores a touchdown to tie the game early in the third quarter. The new score is 17-17.
3:39 p.m. — Virginia Tech was leading Tulane 17-10 at halftime.
3:15 p.m. — Tulane Quarterback Justin Ibieta was carted off of the field.
2:49 p.m. — Virginia Tech is in the lead 10-7
