College football bowl games are upon us as the 2023 postseason begins with a flurry of matchups that will mark a celebration of a compelling year in the sport. The action kicks off on Saturday, Dec. 16 and will run all the way through the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, Jan. 8 as we crown a national title winner for the 2023 season.
The Bowl Season action kicked off with a bang on Saturday with a loaded seven-game slate and returned Monday with a thrilling, come-from-behind victory by Western Kentucky over Old Dominion in the Famous Toastery Bowl. The Hilltoppers committed a whopping five turnovers for the game and found themselves down 28-0 in the blink of an eye, but a second-half rally led to overtime, where WKU eked past ODU with a walk-off field goal.
The action returns Tuesday with the Frisco Bowl between Marshall and UTSA.
