(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Storybook Brewing supporting small businesses in Colorado Springs, by encouraging people to shop locally on Sunday, Nov.3.
The local brewery held a craft and vendor fair or a “Sip and Shop” where people could grab a drink and browse from various crafters and specialty vendors. Shoppers had the chance to find unique items that you won’t normally find in stores.
“If you want to get something unique that you’re not going to find in someplace like a Walmart but at the same time supporting people that are willing to show their wares, show their skills,” said Pete Kilman owner of Storybook Brewing.
Kilman asks you to consider doing your Christmas shopping locally this year. 90% of the downtown businesses are locally owned and operated. The Downtown Partnership says for every $100
