Sean Strickland enters Saturday’s UFC 297 card looking to prove his middleweight championship-winning performance against Israel Adesanya was not a fluke when he takes on top contender Dricus du Plessis in the main event. Strickland vs. du Plessis headlines the PPV event from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

Strickland was given the opportunity to fight for the title when du Plessis was not able to fight Adesanya at UFC 293 in September. Strickland shocked the MMA world by not only defeating Adesanya but by dominating the fight. Du Plessis earned his shot at the belt in July when he scored a second-round TKO of former champion and longtime elite middleweight Robert Whittaker.

There is one other title fight on the card as Mayra Bueno Silva and Raquel Pennington battle for the women’s bantamweight title that was vacated when women’s MMA legend Amanda Nunes retired.

CBS Sports will be with you the entire way on Saturday bringing you all the results and highlights from the UFC 297 below. The main card begins at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN+ PPV following preliminary bouts at 8 ET.
